I will be at the Young Authors Celebration at the St. Lucie School District on Saturday, May 16, 2026, along with other talented local authors. The Young Authors Celebration is an annual event sponsored by the School District to recognize students who participate by writing a book. This year is extra special, as I have the honor of attending the event as both an author and a proud grandmother.
My grandson, Jacob Rivera, will be recognized as a Young Author for his book, Rudy’s Space Adventures. Our family is extremely proud of the hard work, innovation, and creativity he put into the book. The best part of it is that he has already expressed a desire to write a sequel to the book. A huge thank you to the School District for hosting this an important event for the students, families, and local authors in the community!
